Frequently Asked Pony Party Questions

How much space do I need for My Pony Party?

You can have a Pony Party on any average yard, a public park (with authorities' permission) or on the neighborhood's cul-de-sac.

What happens if it rains?

If the weather calls for rain, you can always reschedule your party.

If you think the rain will pass, which typically does, we can wait 15 minutes for the rain to stop. --- However, once you agree to have the party and we depart to your location, you are committed to pay the full fee.

Is deposit refundable?

YES, YOU GET A FULL REFUND IF YOU CANCEL IN ADVANCED.

A REFUND WILL NOT BE ISSUED IF YOU WAIT AND CANCEL 10 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT DATE.

How much time do the kids get to ride?

Making sure all the children have a great time is our only job description, so we base our pony party packages on the number of children that will be riding.

For example: 10 children / 1 pony / 1 hour = 6 minutes / each kid

We recommend the one-pony package for parties with under 12 children and the two-pony package for parties with up to 20 children.

Can adults ride the ponies?

No. Pony parties are for young children - The weight limit per child is 100 pounds - strictly enforced

Do you have goats and sheep?

Petting zoos with goats, sheep and pigs carry parasites and other infectious organisms that can be transmitted to people. Some naturally regurgitate. Ruminants, like goats, sheep and cattle, bring up pre-chewed food and chew it again to extract more nutrients. Regurgitation shouldn’t be confused with vomiting. Pigs are the most likely farm animal to truly vomit; a symptom of swine disease. In contrast, our bunnies are very clean, healthy animals any one can pet with confidence.

How much notice do you need for a party?

We book up quickly, especially on weekends, so please try to schedule your party as early as possible. Parents typically plan Birthday Parties 3 to 4 weeks in advanced.

Are the ponies friendly?

Yes, our ponies are healthy, gentle animals accustomed to being around children.

All kids must wear shoes around the ponies and a safety helmet (provided) must be worn when riding the ponies.

What Parents Are Saying

Thanks soooo much Pony Parties!!  The party was a huge success!  Both of the handlers were so good with the children and very professional.  They even encouraged several children who were scared to ride and it was so awesome to see the confidence in the kids faces once they got on. Oh and the bunnies were precious too! I will definitely be using you guys again!!
